Site Engineer
Description
We are seeking a Site Engineer to join our team in managing and supervising the installation of solar projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient installation of solar panels and equipment, and ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required
quality standards. The Site Engineer will work closely with other engineers, technicians, and contractors to ensure that the project is completed successfully.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the installation of solar panels, inverters, mounting structures, and other equipment on site.
- Ensure that all work is carried out safely and in accordance with relevant regulations and company policies.
- Monitor project progress and ensure that it is completed on time and within budget.
- Work closely with other engineers, technicians, and contractors to ensure that the project is delivered to the required quality standards.
- Conduct site inspections and tests to ensure that the solar system is operating correctly and efficiently.
- Prepare reports and documentation on project progress and technical specifications.
- Liaise with customers and stakeholders to ensure that their needs and requirements are met.
- Manage and supervise the work of other engineers, technicians, and contractors on site.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in solar project installation and management
- Strong knowledge of solar panel installation, mounting structures, inverters, and electrical systems
- Familiarity with relevant regulations, codes, and standards in solar energy
- Experience in managing and supervising teams of engineers, technicians, and contractors
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues on site
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software
