MDPS reduces electricity cost and
contribute to environment
MDPS is based out in Sec-86, Faridabad, MDPS has made Faridabad extremely proud with its lofty ideals and wonderful achievements. Their vision for future is clear, Modern Delhi Public School excelled in academics and achieved a trail blazing success in inter and intra school activities as well.
Challenge: Technology is demand of coming future and this should start from academic, technology adoption will increase the electricity demand. To meet his challenge, MDPS take this opportunity to contribute to environment with clean energy and reduce their electricity cost. This is a step for brighter future for upcoming generation.
Solar Contribution: To set-up this project, MDPS entered in to partnership with Oriana Power for an agreement for PPA mode of solar power plant for 25 yrs. MDPS has installed 250kWp Rooftop Solar Power plant, which is saving more than 50% of their electricity cost and 280Tons of CO2 annually. This project was installed and operated by Oriana Power management. Surplus energy from solar will be adjusted by DHBVN on month-to-month basis.
