Description
We are seeking an experienced Solar Project Manager to oversee the development, design, construction, and commissioning of our solar projects. The Solar Project Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project, ensuring that it is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The
ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of solar technology and operations, experience in managing large-scale solar projects, and strong leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the development, design, construction, and commissioning of solar projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Drive execution of the projects, keeping them on schedule and budget, while maintaining relationships with clients, stakeholders, and vendors.
- Maintain top-quality customer service with clients and all stakeholders.
- Work closely with Business Development team members providing recommendations on how to enhance and improve the building and/or site configuration.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets, ensuring that they are accurate and up-to-date.
- Manage project risks, including identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities, to ensure that the project is progressing as planned.
- Ensure that all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date, including construction schedules, progress reports, and financial reports.
- Monitor project performance, including construction progress, energy production, and financial performance, and take corrective action where necessary.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including landowners, local authorities, and community groups.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including environmental and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing solar projects, including development, design, construction, and commissioning.
- Strong Technical knowledge.
- Experience in managing teams, including engineers, contractors, and suppliers.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Proficient in Email writing, Microsoft Office and project management software.
